It can be so easy to take your eye health and your vision for granted. If you’re seeing okay and you don’t have any eye discomfort or symptoms, then everything must be fine, right? Well, that’s not exactly true. Our Sunset Park optometrist wants you to know that just seeing okay should not be acceptable to you when sharper and clearer vision is possible with new or updated eyeglasses or contact lenses. And the reality when it comes to most eye diseases is that there are no signs to alert you to their presence during their early stages. What this means is that by the time you are noticing a problem, it usually indicates that the disease is more advanced. It might lead to a loss of vision or damage to your eyes, either of which might not be reversible. Early detection is key. And this is why we recommend a yearly eye exam with our eye doctor for all of our valued patients.
Of course, if you are experiencing problems with your eyes, you should not wait for your normally scheduled exam. In that instance, call us right away to schedule a checkup or just walk in. You don’t need an appointment to see our Sunset Park optometrist. You might have eye allergies, dry eyes, an infection such as conjunctivitis (pink eye), or it might be that the effects of cataracts, glaucoma, or another common eye disease are becoming obvious. Whatever the issue, we are dedicated to determining exactly what the cause is and then implementing a course of treatment and/or management to address it promptly.
If you do need corrective lenses, our Sunset Park optometrist will prescribe them for you. Whether you need single vision lenses, bifocals, or multifocal lenses, our optician will fill them right here for you. We make your convenience our priority. You can depend on finely crafted lenses that are precise and of the highest quality. We’re here 6 days a week and we accept many insurance plans in addition to Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and debit cards. If you’re good to your eyes, then they will be good to you.
